Mission Statement
My goal is to share with you the tools and understanding necessary for effective training and communication with your canine partner. Whether it be raising a well-mannered dog or preparing for competitions, training your dog and learning how to communicate with your dog is crucial in making your goals come true. My passion, joy, and love comes from the team work and bond you develop with your canine partner!
What We Offer
Group Obedience, Engagement, Leash Manners, Crate & Place Classes
Dog Training in an indoor climate controlled facility. Limited class size to ensure you and your canine partner get proper attention. We offer AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy to Advanced & Competition Obedience, Leash Manners, Crate & Place, and Engagement group classes. The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy test will be offered at the end of each puppy class. Time permitting, the CGC (Canine Good Citizen) test will be offered free to students.
AKC Rally
TEAMWORK!! AKC Rally is an Obedience based AKC sport that helps sharpen your dog's obedience skills and behavior all while strengthening your relationship! You and your canine partner will navigate through a course together performing what each sign requires.

AKC Open
AKC Open is the second level of Competition Obedience (CDX). This level requires retrieves and jumping. You must have advanced skills in Obedience and/or must be working towards your Novice Title (CD).
Basic Competition Obedience/Rally Skills
LEARN THE BASICS of Competition Obedience and Rally!! We will introduce you and your dog to focused heeling, fronts and finishes, stands, pivots, lateral movement, and more!
CGC Testing & Trick Dog Titling
Earn your AKC CGC (Canine Good Citizen). This test will be offered free to all Foothills Canine Academy students periodically as time permits. Testing date will be posted to our Facebook page!
We can also test for you to obtain your AKC Trick Dog Titles! You will need to reach out to me to schedule a time.
